In 1995, Johnny Faulds started the very first Urge Tattoo in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia.
The goal was simple; to provide a clean, safe, and fun environment for like minded artists and clients to get together and see where they could take the tattooing thing to.
Urge's philosophy, right from the start, has been to work with the client's ideas and input and strive to make each piece a striking custom collaboration that both the artist and client can take pride in.
In 1999, Johnny Faulds started the Urge 2 Tattoo in Edmonton, Alberta.
Johnny has worked hard to foster and maintain the values of professionalism, work ethic, versatility, quality of artwork, and creative approaches to problem solving, all while maintaining a fun and relaxed atmosphere where mutual respect, lively conversation, bad music, an good vibes are the norm.
In 2017 Jeff White, the long-time manager of Urge in Victoria, having relocated to the Okanagan, opened Urge 3 in Penticton, BC.
